This past weekend the CARS Tour was in town at Wake County and the bandoleros filled the docket as a support division. Unfortunately, lady luck decided to show up yet again this season. As qualifying got underway, Joshua got up to speed and tried to lay down a lap worthy of starting up front. Unfortunately, he got loose getting into turn one and smacked the outside wall. The bad luck continued as the team looked over the damage and found a bent axle. With little to no time before the race, the team was forced to start the race with the bent axle. Fireball stepped up and made the best of the situation and was able to work his way up to fifth by the end of the race. Being able to salvage a top five under those circumstances is pretty remarkable.
